how come sunscreen has to be so important and so expensive?

stolen from amy's pinterest: bevs

two things i know for sure about amy's beverage choices: 1. she likes white wine. 2. she likes rum. this is all the more obvious when you stalk her pins. meet amy's drink choices:

how did i miss these as possible drink options?

Pinned Image

pineapple upside down cake drink, which apparently i'd have to find a recipe for since the pin just links me to custom walls...

red, red wine sangria.

but maybe i could do this without alcohol? i just realized, a) it's kinda a drive for people and the more alcohol i provide them with the more i'll food i'll have to stuff in them and b) what if people don't want to drink at 2 in the afternoon? stupid people, why can't they just be me?

cute drinks

i also think these are cute:

Amy's Bridal Shower: Bevs

decisions, decisions

while in the middle of the dress crisis of 2012, my thoughts go to: oh no! what are we going to drink at the shower??
yep. what's more important than games and attendees? booze. ok that's a lie but it's definitely right up there.
plus the invitations have already been mailed/emailed and i can't control who will say yes or no. so now the question is, what shall we drink?!

do i go for something everyone can enjoy?

easy, prepared ahead of time, almost punch style but not sangria with fruits of the season?

something just for amy's taste buds? but that probably has to be made by the glass...

something for my taste buds?

something easy? (it better be easy anyhow since i can't find a recipe for it. it's called champagne punch. looks like champagne with fruit in it. easy enough right?)

this looks easy enough but am i the only one found enough of tequila? and then i would have to worry about glass prep.

speaking of glass prep, am i going to have get glasses? i guess techinically i could use glasses that i already have but then i have to worry about them. or i could buy cheap glasses... added expense + who knows how crappy they might look. hmmm... if i do a punch i already have a punch bowl though it's not that big. so many decisions. it's like planning a mini-wedding here.
